Im sure they'll erase this. I told the woman who made my appointment that I was told I needed a compressor for my air conditioning. She said they were going to have to run a test on the vehicle.It would take a couple hours. She also told me I wasn't going to be charged for it which was very misleading because they didn't charge me for the test, but they did charge me to run the die through the car to do the test. Oh, they act like you know, they're explaining everything and they make you sign a couple things. I spent $216.What he told me was only half. It would have been $375 plus tax. But that he was giving me a break but when I left I still didn't have air conditioning when he tokd me I'd have it off and on. They told me I needed a compressor which I already knew when I called and made the appointment. So when I left I was out 216. and my car is still neexs to be repaired At this point I would never do business with these people.They knew, it wasn't all these other things.I've talked to a couple mechanics since then, they said they knew it's a a c compressor they're just trying to make more money on top of it. Great shop! Great work! Friendly and responsive! Great staff and very helpful. Dont waste your time going to the dealership save your money and bring your car here. They will treat you how you expect to be treated when getting your car worked on! If JR’s cant do the work they will know someone they can refer you to that will provide professional and quality service. For as long as I live in naples, I will be bringing my car back here!

It takes a little while to build trust in a repair shop. These guys have done an excellent job for me twice so far. (Starter, oil change, & tire replacement). I would definitely recommend this shop. Good communication and they invoice the exact estimate amount.

I've had my Hyundai Azera fixed here on several occasions and they did a phenomenal job in getting the parts in a timely manner and my car back up and running. They do a great job of communicating the issues of the vehicle and offer very transparent pricing for parts and labor. I truly appreciate this repair shop! This is a great business if you need to drop your vehicle off in the Naples area for service.

We had been fighting our diesel pickup losing coolant while pulling our trailer. We had to stop every hour and add a gallon. The dealer couldn't get us in for 10 days. We found JR's had good reviews so called them and they got us in the next day, ordered a very expensive part, and got it finished the next day. Josh is a super decent and informative tech who explained every piece of the puzzle. We've taken it back since then for a brake issue that they also handled perfectly. Our go-to shop in Naples.

Not a good mechanic shop to go, I took my 2009 VW EOS for preventive care before a long road trip, (the car was running just fine before I met this shop). I was expecting just to change the spark plugs, check the breaks and correct a few minor stuff that could go wrong during my road trip. They made a complete different diagnose and ended up paying more than 2000$ for a water pump change, timing belt, and some other stuff, Im not even sure the car even needed those things; Ever since the car left this shop it has been giving me problems every single day, the counter person who works there is a great sales man but not a customer service rep, he just offered a guarantee on "the job that was done". oh by the way the job took them way longer than expected and more money than expected, and even added a new stuff to my bill, according to them they couldnt turn the key into the ignition lock and needed to change a part and added another $100 to the bill; only to have my car displaying the EPC and check engine lights every single day; I regret every single day visiting JR Mechanics, don't come here, my car was running just fine before i met these people, stay away from this shop. I love this place. My normal place told me they would not be able to fit my 70's era VW in for months, if at all. JR's was able to look at my car within two days and diagnosed the issue promptly all for a fair price. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Update: came back after buying some new tires for my VW Thing. JR was able to balance the tires since the Tire shop was unable to do so because of the older wheels. JR had an adaptor to get the tires on the high speed balancer and was able to get to it immediately. I love this place.

This is one of the honest car shops in Naples. The staff is very respectful and stand behind their work. The garage is small, but clean and welcoming. You are greeted with a friendly hello and then addressed as Mr. And Mrs. The prices are fair and reasonable and they are willing to work with you. Since they buy the parts needed only after you have agreed to have the work done, they charge you what the part is worth, not marked up. The draw back to this is the timing. Although they are quick with their work, most of the time is spent waiting for the part to arrive. They are able to do most repairs on the day, but bigger projects would require more time as this is more of a small family business with only a couple of lifts in the garage. I feel that I am getting an honest opinion and quality work performed. Not something you get at most garages. They also stand behind their work and will take care of any problems that may occur after the job is complete. I will continue to go here for most of my work needed on my cars. I highly recommend JR and his crew for all of your car repairs.
